We work directly in Chirang District in Bodoland, Assam, with 250 village hamlets across 7 work clusters with around a population of 75,000, and 16 VCDCs (Gaon Panchayats)
Development in these areas are deeply affected due to:
- Tough Terrain
- Political Instability & Violence
- Poor Infrastructure
- Poor governance; poor law & order
- No Industry & employment Opportunities
the ant's presence is in BTAD (Bodoland Territorial Area District) in Assam, working mainly with the poorest and marginalised in villages, irrespective of community, class or religious affiliations.
